Mother of the Bride

Frequently, we are asked what styles work best for a tall mother of the bride.  This mother is 6'1", size 16 and has asked us to help her find a light turquoise or mocha brown dress with short sleeves, or 3/4 length sleeves or a jacket dress.  These colors are a bit difficult to find.  If anyone has any more ideas, please send us an email to krista@tallclothingmall.com .  Let's help her find a beautiful dress for her daughter's wedding!

Beautiful floral prints are a Spring must have item.  Inspiration can be taken from your own flower garden, a tropical hideaway or simple floral ribbon.  Whether you go all out in floral prints, or use just a hint of pattern, flower power does a body good!  Here are a few great choices that look great on tall statures.

Following a popular trend this spring involves sliding into some of the silky and sleek fabrics from Asia with slimming cuts like the kimono tops paired with a simple pair of jeans or capri leggings. The bright colors of nature with dragons, geishas and flowers makes this seasons asian trend even more appealing.  Dress it up with a sleek updo and painted chopsticks in your hair, or dress it down with a geisha tee, jeans and silk beaded slippers.  Either way, add some kohl around your eyes and a slash of red on your lips and have fun!

	3/23/07 Tunics are all the rage, which is great news for the long torso lady. Available in many fabrics and styles, tunics flatter almost any figure. When choosing a pattern, big prints work better on tall ladies. Tunics look great layered over skinny jeans and leggings.
